Cloudflare

Cloudflare services for running, delivering and protecting applications across its network.

Cloudflare illustration for Clairic: a glowing sphere on geometric shapes, set against a musical staff.

Cloudflare introduces Clairic, an extraction model available in preview on Workers AI. From text or images, it returns typed values such as dates, numbers, and lists, and can also compute, estimate, or forecast values, with confidence scores and intervals for estimates. Its responses are well-formed, but not necessarily correct.

The API can process multiple fields in parallel and return extracted text with its source offsets. Cloudflare notes limits in the current checkpoint: multi-step arithmetic, estimates without supporting evidence, and detailed forecasting call for caution. The authors recommend leaving complex calculations to code and using confidence scores and intervals to guide review.

Void Cloudflare Blog illustration — deploying full-stack Vite apps with Void

Cloudflare introduces Void, an open-source platform combining an SDK, CLI, and hosting environment to deploy full-stack Vite applications on Cloudflare. This unified workflow manages server routes, databases, authentication, and Cloudflare provisioning without manual setup, with a CLI that automates deployment and resource management. The approach aims to speed up prototyping and internal app creation while maintaining access control and security, and integrates with major modern JavaScript frameworks.

Vinext 1.0 announcement illustration from Cloudflare Blog

Cloudflare releases Vinext 1.0, a Vite-based reimplementation of Next.js that claims over 99% compatibility with the official test suite (excluding Cache Components). Vinext supports both App and Pages Router, offers a two-command migration path, and introduces cache warming handled on the Cloudflare network to optimize page pre-generation. The project relies on extensive automation to track Next.js changes and maintain compatibility, while making distinct choices for ISR and cache management.
